Boysen Flowers

Magnificent play of paints and flowers. TBWA/Santiago Mangada Puno from Phillipines won the Bronze Press Lion for this “Boysen Flowers” campaign at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. The goal of these print ads was to celebrate the achievement of Pacific Paint (Boysen) being the first and only paint company in the country to receive an ISO 14001, a significant contribution to the company’s vision to be the greenest in South East Asia.

Wine Glasses “Calici Caratteriali”

With following creative collection you will forget about ordinary wine glasses. “Calici Caratteriali” is a series of experimental wine glasses that Italian design studio Gumdesign created for the Abitami show during the Macef home show in Milan this month. Horological Machine No. 3 Frog

Maximilian Busser & Friends (MB & F) presente another masterpiece – Horological Machine No. 3 Frog. Time on this unusual watch is displayed on the two dials under the sapphire glass resembling frog eye. One dial is used to display hours and the other for minutes. Both are made of aluminum and combine high strength with low weight, resulting in minimizing power consumption in their rotation. One of the hardest things in the creation of this watch was to create glass of hemispherical shape from sapphire. The desired visual effect can be achieved only on the ideal glass shape, but it is extremely difficult. Total will be made 32 such chronometers. 12 of them will be in the black titanium corp with a green cage, and the remaining 20 ordinary titanium corp with a green cage.

Babees Honey

We want to represent you a simple but creative idea of packing for honey designed by Ah&Oh Studio from Poland. Target auditory of this project are kids. Dark cap and stripes of jars will recall them a bee. Especially for them were created logo which smiles bee’s face. It’s hand calligraphed, custom made, and it softens the overall simple, geometric look of the packaging. Through this project Ah&Oh Studio tried to encourage kids to reach for honey instead of refined sugar.

Futuristic Luxury Sportcar

Let us show you another stunning concept created by Italian industrial designer Paolo De Giusti. Some time ago we’ve shown you his concept of electric motorcycle and today we want to feature concept of futuristic single seater sporty vehicle. This model called Egochine B is an evolution of a first concept called Egochine created by Paolo De Giusti for the second edition of the Peugeot Design Contest, where it was selected as a finalist. New concept were equiped by large electric motors combined with hydrogen fuel cells. This futuristic car is inspired by luxury sportscars of the past such as Isotta Fraschini.

Superbude Hotel in Hamburg

The architect Armin Fisher from the studio Dreimeta created a concept of a hotel in Hamburg called Superbude where you’re staying with friends and living in a hotel. The six floor building with 74 stylish double and multi-bed rooms allow to stay up all night long without annoying neighbours. All interior of this unusual hotel was created using materials and objects which are totally different in purpose: sofas have been covered with used jeans, kitchen sinks made out of seamen’s chests, and old water pipes have been screwed together to create shelves and tables, even pallets and thick ropes were used to create some of the furniture. Nest-Like Col-Letto Bed

This comfortable and unusuals bed called Col-Letto Bed was created by Italian furniture manufacturer Lago. “Is it possible to create a bed that is comfortable and cozy as a nest? How would you sleep if wrapped in a visual and sound barrier that runs around the mattress? A ring of “soft foam” to relax and escape from daily routine. A “collar” for the bed can open right, left, or be completely rolled up or down like the neck of a turtleneck.”

Modern Concept of “Grain Rice” Shower

Designer from Vietnam Khanh Hoa Vo Thi came up with an unique shower called "Rice Grain". It combines traditional values with modern technology. Body of the shower is made out of polymers, and lines cutted in the body create the effect of massiveness. LED panel is connected with an internal temperature sensors and displays the internal temperature of the shower. With touch screen control panel you can set the temperature of the shower, the magnitude of the jet shower and system of gyro-massage.

Futuristic Taipei Performing Arts Center

Today we want to show you futuristic concept of Taipei Performing Arts Center by American Architectural Studio B+U. For the development of the design they used a unique process using actual sounds as a basis. The morphology and shape of the building was designed using sound-waves that were analyzed and transformed into three dimensional vectors. The Grand Theater and the Playhouse are located to the north while the Multiform Theater is lifted of the ground and connected to the foyer on the south side. The proposal for the Taipei Performing Arts Center is intended to become an important landmark building in the region that expresses the richness and diversity of performing arts and creates a destination point for the area.

This stunning concept called Rolls-Royce Apparition was created by Jeremy Westerlund from Dallas. He designed it as an independent project while studying at the Art Center of the School of Design. The car differs sharp geometric lines, the huge hood and a large 23-inch wheels. This concept is a great blend of classic design elements and futuristic ones.

Kinema Pendant Luminaire

This extraordinary lamp called Kinema Pendant Luminaire is a creation of American designer Stuart Fingerhut. It’s uniquness is in its ability to give the user control of the light’s character to match the mood or the environment. Each of the pendant’s rings can be individually flipped to create dramatic light and shadow effects, as a single object or in multiples. Relatively simple idea but thanks to excellent executed design the lamp looks amazing.
